Network Engineering Graduate
Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a recent Computer Science graduate from Ulster University (2026) with a passion for network engineering and security. I spent a year as a Junior Software Developer at IDOX PLC, and I'm currently pursuing my CompTIA Network+ certification.
My passion for networking started with a love for technology and a drive to understand how systems connect and communicate. I have built and managed my own homelab, designed secure networks, and developed tools like NetPulse (a machine learning-based intrusion detection system) and a portable Raspberry Pi router for secure connectivity on the go.
I focus on practical, hands-on solutions. This includes optimizing network performance, automating infrastructure, and strengthening security. I enjoy tackling real-world challenges and staying up to date with the latest in networking and cybersecurity.
On my Journey page, I answer questions about my approach, goals, and lessons learned in building and securing networks. If you want to know more about my experience and mindset, check out the Q&A section.
